Christmas decorations, kids love sparkly things etc, I gave my nieces a bag each with lots of bits and bobs in and they set about making anything that took
there fancy. My sister in law even put a request in for a bag for each of my nieces to take on there caravan holiday in case they had a day of bad
weather..............It's amazing how kids imagination can run riot..............
Another good idea is to buy a bag of mixed sequins and some polystyrene(spelling) shapes either for christmas or for them to hang from there ceiling.......... |

For my nieces, I use my punches on all my scrap bits and make up a box for them to play with - they, and their friends can make cards, bookmarks, or decorate
boxes etc with them. They do have some of my stamps, but their Mum usually supervises them with the ink pads and heat gun. But they love it and it keeps them
quiet for hours.
the other thing I do is to stamp out stamped images using either stazon, or embossed images that they can they colour in and make up into cards. HTH Kate x |

I have just bought the Card Toonz cd from Joanna's shop. I am sure they would like these fun characters. They could be used for card making or perhaps
scrap booking. Think there is also a magazine from Smith's which covers crafts for kids. Might be worth a look. Chrissie x

Stamped out images to colour are something we do alot too. Also, using peeloffs, including making window stickers with them backed onto acetate. Doing a whole
project together is fun, like spending a day doing exploding boxes and such. Also fun to do is making candles, paper/ cane/ wool weaving, pastel drawing and
still life painting, modelling using the all in one air dry clay that doesn't need firing or fimo, making jewellery from melon/ other seeds, painting and
polishing stones, growing cress heads on decorated containers, making sweets and biscuits for homemade containers.
Have fun together Lavender XX |

I often do crafting with our local Girls' Brigade, we have done cardmaking using felt and fabric shapes, peel offs and simple stamping. Hamma beads, making
bracelets and necklaces using very inexpensive beads or as Lavender said seeds (melon, pumplin etc). Last Christmas we made tree ornaments using pinflair, the
older ones helped the little ones! Our next project is memory books, why not get them to make a memory book of the holidays taking photos themselves and each
of them writing their memories for the photos.
