Back to hospial on Thursday and hoping for better news this week, getting very fed up with doing nothing. Apart from me the weather is also not very good either, it has been quite sunny over the last few days but not very warm and the showers when they come are very sharp. Hoping hubby will get to mow the lawn today or else the farmer will be coming to get hay off it . I'm so pleased that everyone had a nice weekend in Birmingham, maybe I will get there next year. Been up since 5.30, got lots done, all monthly tax returns/payments ready to go and even done VAT return for end of month, so now feel very pleased with myself going to see dad later and make his lunch, maybe do a bit of gardening. Isabels dance teacher has decided in her wisdom to do all duet, trio lessons en masse at 6.30 on a Monday evening as if shes not there enough, Thursday and Friday after school and all day Saturday. Oh well I suppose it keeps her off the streets.... Have a good day everyone Sheran x

Posts: 4102 (16/06/2008 08:41:15) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Good morning from a bright and blue skyed South Wales The birds are singing and it's one of those 'good to be alive' days It was 27c here yesterday but last night went down to 5c-what a drop Taking Dad to the eye clinic at the hospital this morning. He has an ulcer on his eye as well as the glaucoma and we are having to put drops in every 2 hours. They will check the pressure behind his eye and he may need an injection to bring the pressure down. Depending on how he is feeling, we may go to lunch My Everyday Embellishments from C&C arrived Saturday but managed to hide them from OH so will have a good look when I get back later Hope everyone has a great day and hugs for those in need. Will have to make a couple of cards today - a 21st Birthday for a male which I'm not sure what to do and also a Sympathy card for the family of one of my friends who was taken suddenly last week with a massive heart attack at only 42. Must also do some washing and ironing. First job of the day though is to take some bacon to another of my friends who has bought a catering van and has run out! Cant have all her workmen customers going without their breakfasts! lol Julie x

Spent all weekend painting large spare bedroom (ready for craft room) but needs a 3rd coat of paint to completely knock out the hideous purple my daughter chose . No wonder my carpel tunnel is playing up. Firstly meeting a stampaholic friend ( who had a bit of a binge on Saturday!) for coffee, then it's the weekly craft class I go to and we're decorating mannikins. Shouldn't do really as I went to Craft Central yesterday and spent some pennies..................... won't go there again though unless I happen to be close by - it's a bit of a journey and I didn't find the prices any different from my little local place. Then it's a card making afternoon I think..... challenge card, birthday card for an order and need to start OH's 50th birthday card too....... no idea yet though what do do for him!
