I can't find word to express the outrage I feel about the mindless Morons that have done this. They need to be put into an enclosed space and shot with
their own arrows and then left to suffer.. I hope they are caught and severly punished.

So sorry, too. BUT if they do get caught what will they get? Community service? A fine? and who will pay that in the end
cos I bet they won't, Banned from having animals? They probably wont get a prison sentence cos theres nowhere to put them, the prisons are overcrowded as it is . I know I am probably talking out of turn , but An eye for an eye, comes to mind. And yes we don't want to go back to the dark ages but I seriously believe the country is going soft. Will get off my soap box now, sorry, but can't stand the thought of any animal or child in pain through no fault of there own. OK I am going now. Love Jen. |

Hi . just thought I would let you know how 627 is doing.
It is sooo nice to be able to tell you that she has survived the week out, after the terrible attack on her by the unknown morons who used her for target practice with their bow and arrows. Although she is still carrying her shoulder, and limping heavily, she has been eating as normal, which is a hopeful sign. We dont hold out much hope that the police will be able to track down those responsible, but the police are putting it in the local paper in the hope that someone may have some info that might help. And I find that the justice system is very soft and non effective when it comes to dealing with these types of offenders. Once again, all your messages of support have been a wonderful comfort, for which I thank you all. Sharlene xxx |

As an archer, and an archery coach who teaches respect for the bow and arrow, I was truly sickened by this. I can assure you no true archer would have done
anything like this, it is a sport of gentlemen and ladies!!!
I am so glad all is turning out well, but if they catch the ******** who did it, I have a good supply of arrows and some bows if anyone would like to join me in some of our own target practice!!! Nina x |
