Posts: 330 (16/02/2008 10:51:52) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None Just wated to say i made a madiera cake in my breadmaker yesterday and it is lovely...should have heard hubby,he said "you're not making cake in that are you" but it was a different story when he tasted it. I have made a granary loaf which was beautiful,mostly i make softgrain bread for hubby or regular white but i prefer granary...my 8yr old grandson doesn't like any sort of "bits" in his food so when he asked to try my granary bread i thought he wouldn't eat it but he did and he said it was delicious,wants his dad to get a breadmaker now. The way the price of bread is escalating i would definitely recommend a breadmaker Marian x

Luv Wiggybear xx Here you go...3/4 cup melted butter 1/4 tsp vanilla essence 3 med eggs beaten 2 tsp lemon juice mix all these in a bowl 1 5/8 cup plain flour 2 tsp baking powder 1 cup granulated sugar mix these into a bowl, then conbine all the ingredients together Pour mixture into breadpan and set on setting 4-cake marian x
