it up for £3 it was fine but i had got it yrs back second had and the case had a small crack in it on my ebay photo it showed the small crack now with the
bidding it went up to £7 i sent of die now the woman is up in arms saying the die is fine but the case is cracked and is so going at me for this so we have
this big row going on i have said that if the die is ok what your problem it was sold as seen in the photo what i want is a bit of advice here what would
you do in my shoes would you email her again and say look if your not happy return it and i will do a refund or would you say well sorry you saw what you was

If your photo clearly shows the crack in the case and you weren't selling it as new, I don't see how she can complain Linda. It's as you say - sold
as seen, surely?

Well I don't think it matters a jot whether the case had a crack or not, its the die thats important. Offer her a refund if she wants, but don't just
take money off.

Hi,
I think there is a new thing on eBay saying you cannot leave bad feedback. Personally ,I would refund and get the item back. Perhaps her self induced rage is just a way she tries to get a discount but horrors I would hate to have to deal with the situation. Hugs and take a cup of calomile tea, everything will sort itself out, I am sure. Sandra |

yasmina4 wrote: The new thing is that the seller can't leave negative feedback about the buyer, apparently this is so the buyer can leave true feedback without repercussions from a bad seller, as far as i can see this is not a fair way of doing things but that's ebay's new policy. What i would do is tell her that if she is not happy to take dispute proceedings, in this way Linda can then put her point of view and the whole thing will get decided by either ebay or paypal (if that's who was used for payment). If negative feedback does get left, i'm sure the seller can leave a response to the feedback. take care love and hugs Teejay x PS Just had a thought, call her bluff Linda and you take it to dispute, or at least mention to her that, that is what you will do if she's not happy. |

This is weird, I am having the same problem with some perfect pearls I sold. The lady e-mailled that 1/4 of one of the pots had emptied in the packaging.
Considering it was in all it's original packaging and I had clearly said used once in listing she is not happy. Wants me to refund £1.00, cost her £3.99
and I paid £12.99 two years ago.

What a load of nonsense! I have a huge collection of Sizzix dies all of them bought as new dies and many of them received with cracked cases. Whilst it's
sad and we all like things in pristine condition we have to recogniser that these things have travelled long distances between suppliers etc. before we receive
them. Surely it is the die that is important. What a silly woman!!
Linda, I think you're right to offer her a refund in the interest of peace and quiet. I do hope though, that you will make her pay for the return postage charges, there is no reason why you should make a loss because of her stupidity. Lynn x |

shut her up

Linda if you said sold as seen or mentioned the fact it was used used in the description and the crack was obvious in the photo, then it's her problem not
yours. Some people these days want something for nothing. As for craftyhel and the lady complaining about the perfect pearls, I'd tell her she was making a
big saving and if she wants full pots she should buy new. I'm afraid I've got no time for people like that.

Linda,
If she takes you up on your refund offer, do not refund until you have received the die back. Sarah xxx |
