I've had a roller coaster of a day today.
After dropping my daughter off at 6th form this morning, one of the council sweeper trucks swept my car - without water!!!!!
I could see that there wasn't enough room for him to pass so I stopped and looked up to talk to the driver, only to find that there was no-body there. I was waving and shouting not enough room but he still went - it was a left hand drive. Pa!
My car is scraped and I cut my hand when I got out to check the damage. My OH and I have spend all morning on the phone with the insurers and we know that the council never accept liability in these cases - even though it was the drivers fault.
On a lighter note, I have just spent the last 2 hours at Cheshire Oaks at the paper shop where Amanda Bateman is demoing Sakura products. We had a good laugh about the antics at the Hilton last weekend, Amanda said she has been recovering all week. I would have loved to have stayed longer but other customers kept coming over and making Amanda demo and do other hard stuff like that. Double Pa!
I've seen some lovely cards made with the Laura Ashley papers - these will work so well with Joanna's Victorian images.
Just as I'm all fired up and ready to craft - I've got to go and do taxi drivering and then making dinnering - perhaps I should do what Lavender is doing at the moment and write the ideas down for later.
