Thanks for the update Debbie, thank goodness Scott isn't in constant pain now. I don't know how Nikki copes either, they are all so brave.

thanks everyone,
i have plans today which may make a couple of sheenies happy but am keeping them to myself for now just incase it doesnt happen Debbie and i went out for a lovely lunch which made a change from sitting in the parents room, Scott is to be reviewed today as to whether he can eat, might have something to do with the threat to the nurse of "getting, squashing and giving no her more chocolate" (it was hotel chocolate so i know how to persuade someone )

Nikki it's nice to see you still have a sense of humour and can still smile through all of this, I don't know if I could.
Pleased to hear Scott feels a liitle more 'comfortable'. That must be a great relief for you all. Nothing worse than seeing a child in pain and neither you or they can explain what's going on. Christine xxx |

I skilfully avoided any mention of the lunch - I didn't want to have to confess to the plateful of hot chocolate brownies with cornish vanilla icecream. When the waiter asked if we wanted to share a pudding the look we both gave him was enough for him to understand just how stupid his question was!!! Hope you get good news on the eating front today.
