Definitely old enough, have purple clothes would my red pixie hat do or the jester one with 3 bells worn at school at Christmas? I think the fact that I do
probably qualifies me big time. Not joining though being a spoil sport I like to be old and disgraceful in my own way not something I really have to think
about just comes naturally! LOL

My friend in the USA (who belongs to this forum but hardly ever appears) is an ardent 'red-hatter' and goes to functions and has a wonderful time!
i've bought red hat rub-ons and other bits to make cards for her and to send as gifts.
I don't know how one finds branches - probably googling would work. I'm qualifed to join and fed up with 'good -exampling' as an old lady once said to me - but hate hats and always look awful in them!! Now there is a dilemma. Janet |

I will have to think twice about joining in although I'm old enough, the expression "Red hat no knickers"
would always be in my thoughts and I would be

I was shocked when I started reading this as I thought this was such a polite forum but like Eunice I thought we were going down the line of "Red hat no
knickers"
Whilst I qualify for the club in terms of age it might be a bit too draughty. Lynn x |

If anyone IS interested, I googled it and found the UK site with all the 'chapters ' in the UK. I can pass on the site addy if anyone wants it. It is a
good site and explains all about the society and the details of all the groups in the UK (there are far more than I imagined!!. Janet

I love that poem. My bestet friend was ordained as a Minister 8 years ago and when she left our church we had a farewell tea for her, she recited the poem. My
youngest son has been suggesting that I should join that sacred throng. I think that my dear SiL was doing the same when he bought me a new folding walking
stick to take to France when we all went in February - it has huge RED AND PURPLE circles all over it.
Yes I am definately a Red Hatter!!! Kate X |
