It's great, my daughter, Lorna has quite a few weeks now before returning to Year 12 for A Level's and she's bored. But guess what, each day I get
home from work there's another surprise waiting for me. Evening Meal all prepared, washing and ironing done, dishes cleared up and today she decided to
cook some chocolate cookies, but not just some, there were 3 different types and over 60 of them, I do love them but I don't think I can eat all them. Is
there anyone who can help me?

Wow, give me your taining plan now! My daughter is 10 this year and I live in hope that one day she will be remotely tidy. As for dinners, ironing etc if I can
get her to do that in secondary school I might just let her stay at home!!
It's nice that she obviously appreciates her Mum and wants to help. I can always manage a good cookie, save one for me! Caroline |

Wow, does your daughter want to come and live with me?? I live in a really nice place, she can see the world
and cook and clean for me. My 15 year old daughter would just turn in to
something if I ever suggested washing and ironing. She breaks up from school this week for 10 weeks, oh help. Me thinks she is going to be some work at home
too, if she likes it or not.

gosh what planet does your daughter come from - I could do with trading mine in (yes Emily I do mean you if you're reading) Em also has her GCSEs done and
has weeks stretching ahead which are apparently *all boring* and she can't wait to get back to school .... shame we have a holiday booked in that all
boring time then lololol
nope definitely think you have a special daughter there! |

Must admit mine were pretty good at that age, but they had to be cos that's when all by back problems started and was unable to do very much 26 years and
four operations later - it's not any better and I've not got any daughters left living on Shetland to do things for me...................so can I
borrow yours

Where did I go wrong? Tom also finished GCSE's recently. Hmmmm now let me see, cooking cleaning and ironing. Nope definately none of that done for me. In
fairness he is away at Glatonbury festival this week, working on a fajita wagon and he's been booked to teach sailing for a week in July and he does have a
waiter job as well. But no help in the house for me.

That is absolutely brill and so nice that she is capable, but the sceptic in me asks you post at the end of August to confirm if she has kept it up. Still I
would be happy with 1 week like that. Ali x
