Hi fellow Sheenies, just to let you know that I may not be around much for a while.
Mum had a really nasty fall on Thursday while getting into the bath and is now in Odstock hospital (about 20 miles away from us) awaiting plastic surgery on her leg. We think she pulled down the shower rail as she fell and fell onto that, but she can't remember so we're not 100% sure, what ever it was she now has a huge hole in her leg through to the bone, oh and a fractured ankle. She's supposed to have her first op today and then once her leg starts to heal they will do skin grafts from her other leg. It looks like she may be in for at least a couple of weeks, so meanwhile we're up and down to the hospital. At the moment she is very bright and chirpy (not to mention brave!) but as shes 83 in August we're a bit worried about her having to go through all this, poor love.
I'll try to catch up with all your news each night, but I probably won't be posting much for a while, so I'm sending birthday wishes and hugs now to anyone I may miss.
