Try looking above eye level - maybe you put it out of the dog's reach?
Not that I'm assuming the dog is 5' tall

OK Sassie, I can't solve your book problem, but can anyone solve my 'dog's bone' mystery?
Yesterday, I weeded a patch of garden path and tidied up. This morning I went down the garden to fill up the bird feeder, and there was Ivy's old bone exactly where I had weeded yesterday. Now, Ivy is not allowed in the garden - there's a large pond which is just right for a labrador to swim in! - so how come the bone showing up? Spooky or what? Perhaps you should look in the garden for your book?LOL Judy C |

 Ok! after almost 24 hours of searching for it WelshPaula gets the
prize for stooooopid places to put things!! Paula knows that when I lost her phone number it appeared in my bread bin. I thought I'd already looked there
but when I opened the bread bin for the bread to make myself a piece of toast for lunch VOILA! there it was. Thank you all so much I was starting to get really stroppy

I don't eat much bread and usually keep the loaf in the freezer and
take out a couple of slices as and when, why there was actually bread in the bread bin is another mystery, however, i'm happy to let that one remain
unresolved.
