Posts: 5662 (29/06/2008 23:16:31) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None I bought a Papermania stamp a couple of seeks ago - wood mounted medalliony type of thing. BUT - the middle of the stamp simply will not print........................... grrrrrrrrr. Wasted two lots of embossing powder (beautiful vanilla ice one) but cannot get the image in the centre........... I am stamping onto plain white card on the desk - no craft mat underneath or anything............holding it still, pressing really hard all over it, etc.......... Am I doing something wrong or do I just have a duff stamp? Stamping is not my strong point so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. C xx

I've had to do that on a few occasions. If that isn't an option, maybe you can remove it from the wood (microwave a few seconds) and try it on an acrylic block, using your favourite mounting method. This way you would have more control. Third option - ink stamp and place face up. Put paper over the top and gently brayer to transfer the ink. You could add some finger pressure over the area that doesn't come out, so it takes up the ink. Hope one of these helps, but returning it, with a sample of the stamping, is the best option if possible. Janet

But if I was you, I would take/send the stamp back wherever it came from. Paula x

On others I have removed from the wood altogether and put on Ez Mount Foam and not had a problem hth jackie

Have tried it upside down but I think I moved the card so it went haywire anyway! Will try again tomorrow and see if it plays nicely then. C xx

I think the level of the stamp must be uneven so this part is not as deep as the rest. I always stick an embellishment over my duff bit, but if you can I would take it back. Ali x

Cant think any thing else margaret xx
