Hi
I have been asked to make a card for a graduation but i seem to have a crafters block and cannot think of something suitable to do. Does anyone have any ideas,
anything i'm desperate.

There was a thread about this last week.
I have seen a spring card (prject on Joanna's website called lozenge card) made from black card with a black tassle in the middle. Is that what a mortar board is Katrina??? It also had a scroll tried with a red ribbon. Sarah xxx |

Yep Sarah, a morar board is that flat hat with a tassel, my teachers used to wear them lol

Theres a graduation snail on my first Card Toonz SE CD, theres also a teacher on the new CD, but thats probably too young to use for graduation in my opinion.

I made this one last week, if it is of any good I dont mind you using it for inspiration.
It didnt scan very well but you get the idea.

I made one last week in purple and black, used script paper from one of Joanna's pads and topped it off with a mortar board made out of black card with a lovely tassle, I also made a scroll out of one of Joanna's compliment slips (talk about waste not want not eh!) but it was the colour I needed and wrapped it in a lovely purple satin ribbon, it turned out really well, my friend was really pleased with it |

Hi
Thanks for all the great suggestions they have been really useful. In the end i found an image of a scroll which i put the girls name on and congratulations. I also added a mortar board with tassel........hope they like it. Julie |
