I've just had a phone call from my sister to tell me that they are keeping my other sister in overnight initially. The tests were inconclusive but it looks
as if it might be the irregular heart rhythm that she's had before. She's already attempted to discharge herself but the sister on duty wouldn't
allow it. I just wish that they could sort her out completely while she's in there. The doctor didn't seem to acknowledge that she had dementia and was
talking to her as if she was 'normal'. We have to ring tomorrow to find out what is happening. Hazel

Hope all goes well Hazel - unfortunately unless you have Power of Attorney she will be treated as 'normal' but they will see what she is like while
she's in there - perhaps they will get her some help.

Hazel my Aunt had dementia and when she was in Hospital the doctors were the same asking all sorts of questions and believing her answers.
