The management in the refuse collection depot! Our bin not emptied because the binmen are on strike!

Council recently did job evaluation exercise. All very carefully worked out, etc. Some people ended up on higher lever, some lower, some the same. Most binmen were sent letters advising their pay had gone up and advised of compensation package. Oops said the managers, we don't think this is right becuase we haven't the budget for it. I got small rise and had my (small amount of) compensation in April pay packet. Binmen still waiting for theirs ... also lots of them had incorrect pay (lower) over last 3 months.

So, I am extremely annoyed because we only get fortnightly collection, it is a non-recycling bin week and already have flies in the bin. Nothing on council website or our internal info site in the council. Info only from local paper. Binmen resolute not going back till resolved and management telling paper that it will be business as usual tomorrow.

Also have had headache all afternoon which I put down to sitting in a 3 hour meeting this morning.
