Hi, I moderated on a teabag group for some time and love it. haven't done so much since my hands went all independent on me, but I have folders full of original folds using all kinds of shapes. You mentioning it makes me want to get back to it.
When you start, try out the fold using a 4-6" square first to get the 'feel' of the fold before progressing to more intricate tiles. Even the simple folds make fantastic shapes, but he important thing is to be accurate with your cutting of the squares and the folds. Make the creases nice and sharp and fit them together with a repositioable glue (or onto a piece of magic tape) before the final stick-down.
Are you the Varla who was on here (mostly on the swaps board) under another name some time ago? It is such an unusual name, I wondered if you had been here before? Janet
