Took a couple of goes and long converation with a noce man from Virgin! lets hope I have a steady internet access now! The new modem is tiny compared to my old one! Its about 4x5x1" Margaret xx |

How long did we manage without computers and internet connections and now when it all goes pear shaped we simply cannot cope without it. How times change. Betty |

I put off getting on the internet for ages as I didn't need it. Oh boy! is it hell when you can't get on line. I don't know when this change
happened but it did, just like those other essentials that I never needed - video recorder, dvd player, freeview and microwave.

Hello there Margaret
We have the slimline Virgin modem and it's fine, except sometimes at busy times it'll decide not to work and we have to reboot it by pulling out and then reconnecting the power, but other than that it's ok
