I have some and they work fine. I usually lay the paper on top of the stamp. I have been waiting for the large A5 stamps. Of course, I had to tape
today's show and thought i had missed them, but they were still available when I got home I already have some enormous stamps (8x6 and 6x6) and they are good for just using part of the image. Alison |

how would you clean them can you just wash them under the tap

I just clean them the way I do wooden stamps - a quick run over with a baby wipe or a spray with stamp cleaner. The actual image is rubber, or a resin. It is only the backing that is foam, they aren't foam stamps, though you do get those. I have wondered about unmounting them and putting them on ezmount. I will if the backing starts to go. Alison |

I was wondering about them too - thanks for asking the question. Enjoyed the show today - much more time for demos. Tess x

I have quite a few of the foam stamps, bought them through qvc germany about 2 years ago. I use them a lot and they're still as good as new.
And as Alison said just clean them the same way you do your wooden or unmounted stamps. Barbara x |

Just ordered the set of 3 romantic stamps. They are in the clearance section at £9 plus postage so thought it would be worth a try - lovely images. Tess x

I have quite a few of those stamps from qvc and they are lovely, and easy to use, and i took the backs of my stamps yesterday for the same reason.

I now have several of these foam stamps (including a boxed set of animals I won on ebay about 3 years ago and was shocked that they were foam all through!!). I
love them and they stamp so well. With the biggest ones I lay the paper over the inked stamp and brayer it. Needs a good dye ink, pigment ink doesn't seem
to work as well.
I also gave them a good wash with hot water and washing up liquid before stamping, to get rid of coating or they 'bobble'. I wash them under the tap to clean as I'm a bit wary of using stazon cleaner on them. If dirty, I use sticky stuff remover and wash off with w/u liquid and hot water. I ordered the new big ones yesterday!! Janet Just noticed some of you don't put the in water. I'm afraid I always scrub all of my stamps with a soft toothbrush over warm water and detergent and rinse under the tap. I don't submerge them, but I do get them pretty wet!! Never had a problem in over 14 years of stamping and have lovely clean stamps!!
