Sorry, I had to laugh at the title as it sounds like something you
should put cream on!

My Mum bought one a few years ago, to take to Spain while they lived in a campervan for a year, she swears by it and it cooks brilliantly, crispy roast
potatoes, whole chicken, she used it a lot and even after they bought a villa and settled down she still used it every week.
The only reason I did not buy one is my kitchen is tiny and I have a slow cooker which I use all the time. |

I don't have one - but have had similar things in past - when the family were home used to use my electric frypan/slow cooker and I also have a huge
Miraclemaid one that takes a joint and trimmings in it. (have been known in past to put that out in the garden for large family bbqs to keep everything hot!)
Great thing is they work on an electric light bulb of electricity. Must admit have been tempted to treat myself to one (as the equivalent I have was my mum's after mine wore out - hers must well over 20 years old as we bought them at the same time!), it was great when I was out at work and could put a meal in it to gently cook all day. Mags (just worked out that my Miraclemaid one must be nearly 30 years old - as had it at our old house - and we have lived here 27 years! ) |

I have always wanted one but as I have a record of buying gadgets and then not using them I have not got it yet. The only kitchen things I have got and still
use all the time are the George Foreman Grill and my smoothie maker. Bread maker, steamer......I could go on, not my best buys! But the Remoska does look
good and I have only ever heard positive things about it.

I don't have one but have heard brillaint reports. Apparently they are still made in the same way they were 30 years ago and they are built to last
withvery few components to go wrong. They are supposed to give fantastic results and I have been trying to persuade my Mum to buy one because she won't put
the oven on "just for one" because it's a waste of electricity. I think the Remoska would be just the ticket.

Had one of these, the large one as the small ones had been recalled with a fault, I used it with great success it cooked to perfection, (they also have a good
recipe book you can buy) but mine gave up after 18 months I contacted them and without hesitation I had my money back, even after the guarantee had run out, no
hassle at all, guess I got a faulty one. Would highly recommend them.

I absolutely love mine and use it all the time, even in the tent! I cooked a roast chicken dinner for 9 with roast potatoes and all
the trimmings in the tent, (I have the large one) and it was fabulous. I also did apple pie and custard for dessert. It cooks everything to perfection -
especially chicken - I have even made a cake in it.
It is a great bonus when you want to use the oven but the kitchen is just tooo hot! You can only buy them from Lakeland in this country and they give fabulous customer service, no matter how long you have had something they will replace it if there is a problem. Their guarantees are lifetime guarantees. Can you tell how keen I am on mine? Dawn |

Thanks for starting this thread Frances, I too have been thinking about it and there seems to be a lot of positive feedback here. Will give it some serious
thought when I regroup the finances

I bought one for my mum so that she didn't have to heat up the oven just for one. She had a rack she used to cook bacon with mushrooms underneath and she might have done sausages too. Now I use it all the time. It does lovely roast potatoes and I cook eggs with lots of vegetables. I kept buying things like mince and chicken but having to
throw them out because I was too ill to cook them and they went off. Now I throw them in the remoska as soon as I get home from the shops - no bother no matter
how bad I feel - half an hour later they are cooked and I freeze them. I've saved the price of it just by that. Alison |

I love kitchen gadgets but hate the prices and do buy quite a few second hand! The Remoska has never been on eBay when I have checked. I assume, therefore
,that once bought the owners love them . I have told myself to start saving. They look marvelous from the Sales blurb in Lakeland and with the cost of living
would be quite a saving electricity wise Sandra

i have one and had it over 5 years now and use it all the time. in fact i use it more than my oven. i brought my mother one and she used it all the time. in
fact i had to get her a second one in the end because she used it everyday and after 4 years i brought a new one for her.
since i brought mine, they now do smaller ones and bigger ones. i have the meduim one and that was their first one. now they have rack and a divider. it is one of the best things i have ever brought. and well done to lakeland for selling it. if you buy one, you will not regret it. love june b |

Winner of The Good Housekeeping Innovation Award
"The Remoska Cooker was one of the winners of the Good Housekeeping Innovation of the Year awards. It was nominated by one of our
readers who originally bought it to use in her caravan but found it to be as good as her more conventional household appliances.
She found it great for cooking roast chicken and potatoes, scones and sponge cakes.
When we tried it out we got good results when cooking a Victoria sandwich cake, fried chicken and poached salmon. Results were as good
as using a normal oven. The judges described it as 'versatile and compact - cooking results are as good as with a normal
oven'."
