Frances I love that book - can't say it is enjoyable but it is compelling. I am currently reading Pies and Prejudice by Stuart Maconie
- my mother in law had it whilst she was in hospital and has passed it on to me.

I am reading Maureen Lee books at the moment, someone lent me one and I am hooked, Have read several now. Not too heavy going, but good story lines. In fact I am just on my way to bed now to read a chapter or two before i fall into the land of nod. Teresa x |

Lavender wrote: Well actually my first thought for a reply was "the forum". However, I shall be off up the wooden hill with my M&B shortly - can't
remember title for the moment - but I can assure you it isn't Mills and Swoon, but a good storyline. this is third book in a Trilogy.

Hey everyone,
I read to Kill A Mockingbird at school and had it as a GCSE paer in English, everyone else in the class thought it was boring, but i think they missed all the points and lessons to be learned (my classmates hated the film tooo because it was in black and white, ohhh i love bothe the story and the film) I love to read any book by Richard Laymon, my favourites though have got to be Glory Bus and Darkness tell us. With the Beast House trilogy and One rainy Night. oh i love all his novels. Sorry i'm just rabbiting on. it happens a lot when talking about books i prefer a good book to t.v anyday. Sorry for boring you all with this long novel, (I bet you wished you never aked frances!) lol Take Care All, Love Kim xxxxxxxxxxx |

Just finished reading Ferney by James Long. It's a love story about the two main characters, who have been together in different lives for over 1,000
years. I really enjoyed it. I am now about to start Barbara Erskine's latest book, The Warrior's Princess, which also combines the present and the
past. I have all of her books, the first one was Lady of Hay, and they are all brilliant.

I've just started 44 Scotland Street by Alexander McCall Smith. I was bored by The Number 1 Detective Agency and gave it to my sister who loved it - she
had lived in Kenya and said she could smell Africa while reading! She then recommended AMS's 'Sunday Philosophy Club' series which I love, and
I've been meaning to try the Scotland Street stories for some time. I've had a couple of Australian visitors staying and one of them gave me this first
volume before she left.
