The Ex-Boyfriend's Handbook (no idea who it is by) I bought 10 novels for 9.99 from the Book People and am working my way through them.

frances wrote:To Kill A Mockingbird is my shared all time favourite ... I read it for my English Lit O'level (more years ago than I care to admit!) and we obviously picked the book apart during lessons without which I don't think I would have fully understood the story. I've read it a few times since. My other favourite is a book called Two Into One by Louette Harding about a couple that split up and the impact it has on their child. I don't read much now ... after a full day working on the puter my brains are usually scrambled and if I try to read anything I end up reading the same line over and over. It's a shame, I often wish I did read more! I'm dipping in and out of Wordpress For Dummies at the moment but I don't think that really counts

I started The Bone Garden this morning - the latest (I think) in the series by Tess Gerritsen featuring Maura Isles. Love them all.

Hi someone gave me a Dan Brown book called Deception Point, only ever read Da'Vinci Code by him and don't think I shall be reading many of his. I love
Jeffrey Deaver books and James Patterson. Think I've read all the J.Cox and Emma Blair ones. I chop and change authors as my mood changes. Read to kill a
mocking bird years ago and love the film too.

For the 3rd time I'm reading the Finlay J Macdonald trilogy that starts with Crowdie and Cream - it's the autobiographical story of his life growing up
between the Wars on the island of Harris in the Outer Hebrides.
I never tire of it. |

A book on the Life of William Cecil, 1st Baron Burghley (Elizabeth 1st's chief advisor). A real eye-opener! I love anything about Tudor life and the
characters of the time. Jan

Terry Pratchett - The Truth. I'm working my way through all of the Discworld books. This is number 25. At the moment I've got the another 4 to go. Well
at least thats how many I've bought. Haven't really looked beyond that. There could be more, but I'm loving every single one!!

For those who want to read the book for themselves - stop reading now When the wife comes home to find her husband in bed with another woman she drags her out of the house stark naked, pushes her into the car and drives into the centre of town, where she stops in a queue of traffic in the very busy high street and pushes her out of the car - still stark naked! Hell hath no fury.....? Dawn |

The outcast, one of R & Judys summer reads. It is very good as are a lot of them as they tend to be first novels for a lot of authors and as such are
usually different.
This one is based after the second world war. I usually only get time to read on holiday, but we have had some sun this week at last, so I am enjoying reading. Ali x |

The weekly offers from W H Smiths, they are £2.99 when you buy The Times, and are usually a very good and unusual read. I will also have to start reading all
the books mentioned on here.

I've just finished From Larkrise to Candleford and loved it! Completely different to what I expected but such a lovely relaxing book and I was so
disappointed when I finished it, not because of the book but because there was no more to read!
