Cropadile Big Bite

Has anyone else got one?....am I pressing too hard to insert the eyelets as when I do they tend to split in an awkward shape behind the card.
Any advice please.

Don't press too hard. Seriously its the same with the cropadile! You need to practice until you know just how hard to push. With the cropadile you can turn it sideways to look but not the big bite. Mine only arrived yesterday afternoon so I haven't had a chance to try it out.

Mine arrived on Friday but wouldn't cut at all so it has to go back for replacement. It was not lined up properly. Real shame because it will take 2 weeks to get it back and then replaced. Has anyone else had this problem?

Mine arrived yesterday too Tina and it's still in its box, not had time to look at it, wondering whether or not to keep both as I have the original too!

I think it will be good especially for long reach and those huge grommets that come with it

I will probably use the original more but at the price we got these for, I think we are quite lucky

Many thanks everyone.
I bought some small eyelets yesterday to try out and I just wondered if they were poor quality but I did buy them from a very good craft store, it was obviously me crushing them too hard!
I shall continue to practise and hope I get the results I am expecting as I think this will be a terrific tool.
I haven't tried a grommet yet...they seem interesting!

I have finally received mine and cannot wait to use it. I am hoping that it really does not require too much strength to use! Those big gromlets are just so nice. I did read somewhere about some fault eyelets/gromlets that split when used...I will look back in my inbox and find the info. I saw the Big Bite advertised in an American craft mag and could not wait to get one as though I have a silent setter if this is as easy to use as says on the tin so to speak, it will help out loads. I was going to get a cropodile but thought why when can wait til BB then can get further over the page!! Have fun!!! xx

Received mine yesterday and have had a play. Like the small one you don't need a lot of pressure to use it. I like the fact that you can use it as a table top one and don't have to hold the paper in mid air.

are you using the right setting letter A top block for large bottom block 1
b flat top botom block 2
c small bottom 3
dgromiel top 4

I have not got mine yet but have got the case with the extra grommits etc in it still waiting...and waiting...and waiting.. maybe it will come tomorrow along with the blur craft trolly thingy which my best friend bought fdor me.

MINE CAME YESTERDAY and its great, a lot easyer to work than a silent setter, im finding a bit of a problem with the pressure too but im sure i will get uesd to it

I decided not to get the case from QVC. I have tons of eyelets, so I didn't need those. I got the orange (so it doesn't match) one from Crafty Devils for £8.99. They both arrived the same day.

Yes, that is what it is made for. You did look at the Big Bite case? I put mine straight in. There aren't a lot of compartments for all the gromlets that came with the Big Bite, but I put those in another box.
