Posts: 666 (05/07/2008 19:43:19) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None Had a lovely afternoon going round village I live in as we are having a scarecrow festival - its the 2nd one and this year there are over 60 displays - both schools , churches, nurseries and shops have joined in along with many private ones its fantastic. There is a disco dome for the kids this evening at the community centre and tomorrow all the schools and church hall are open for refreshments and my daughters school is having its fayre ( made some cards for them to sell as not able to go because of risk of infection!) Hope the weather holds out for them Janet M

We have a lot of 'field days' here in Ireland which generally get a good turn out, its one of the things I like about living here as when I lived in Medway people kept very much to themselves. It's lovely when people pull together, Tina.
