I haven't watched tennis in years ... at least since we moved here which was nearly six years ago.
Only watched this afternoon because we've been to my niece's Christening and I was too tired to move 
I was really gripped ... goodness knows how the family of the players can stand the stress 
Fantastic match ... might even make the effort to watch a bit more nest year

Fantastic Match, shame about the rain but that doesn't matter. Nadal was a very worthy winner. Oh well, will probably go into withdrawal over the next
couple of days roll on next summer.

Sat on edge of seat all through the match, nipped to loo only at the quick breaks same with making tea.....nearly got burnt.
Cried in the end after shouting at the tele numerous times.....But I've also won, as I had a bet on Nadal to win a month ago, think I've got about £250 to collect tomorrow. Never done anything like this before and I think I'll quit whilst still ahead Christine xxx |

Superb match, it was such a close call. I am pleased Nadal won as he has achieved so much this year. Of course, sorry that Federer didn't make it six in a
row but he will win again I'm sure. I also thought the Robson girl [aged 14] was a worthy winner of the Girls Championships, and she was so poised.
Oh well, back to gardening, chores, H........ and other daily tasks, unless I can think of another lot of excuses! Judy C |

It was just fantastic!!!
 I can't remember how long
since watching such a spellbinding match!  They were so well
matched and nice guys too. It seemed a pity they couldn't both win. Nice to see less of the gripped fists and snarly mouths of some other players.
Just First Class Tennis!!! (Even if I did end up missing Glenda's POTW show!  )

What a wonderful match, I cried at the end I so wanted Rafa to win. I think Roger is a great champion but after watching Rafa for the last 3 years he is such a
brilliant player and modest and polite too! no swearing or racket throwing.I too will have tennis withdrawel symptons.I love Wimbledon

ABSOLUTELY FANTABULOUS!! it made a fantastic final, I had my fingers crossed for Rafa, but it didn't really matter, because they are
both such great players. I thought it was lovely at the end, when he said that Federer was his number 1.
We'll be seeing a lot of Laura Robson, it would be nice to have a wining Brit, especially female! Jacqui x |
