I have been playing tonight with the cuttlebug folders I embossed thenm and heat embossed them as well, it turned out
reasonably well, I made a quick card nothing too fancy just to see how it would look and here are the results.

They look wonderful - oh I do love these folders!! I saw somewhere a list of 50 or more ways to use your embossing folders - I will have to try and remember
where!

I have some CB embossing folders, but I am not quite sure how you have done it, it looks fantastic and I would really like to try it myself, could you please
write a description, it would be lovely!!!!

Hi Eva, I used my versa mark pad and put it on the inside of the folder then I put my card in and put it through my wizard, then
I sprinkled embossing powder on tapped off the excess and applied the heat and voila, if the card is porous the embossing powder doesnt seem to go as glossy
(dont forget to wash and dry the inside of the folder with warm soapy water when you have done) the card with the flower was sparkle and sprinkle which I got
from Joanna and the other is a metal emoss powder, just turned TV on and seen Glenda with her new stamp and its similar to the cuttlebug folder which I have
used (its the first time I have seen it)

That is absolutely ingenious!!!!! I will absolutely try that technique! Putting versamark on the actual plastic instead of the paper.....you have really inspired me now!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love Eva xx |
