I'm looking for ideas for children's cards and this looked like a reasonably good buy.
Can anyone recommend any other cd's tha could be useful aswell. Got the Robert Adams sugar and spice cd.

My little neighbours LOVE Sharons cd's esp the Farmyard Friends - I love the fact that you can print off colouring in pages too. These discs have been
worth their weight in gold :-) Another brilliant disc is the Roberts Addams Teddy Bear one - the decoupage is easy enough to do for little ones -

there seem to be strong views for and against the Catwalk CD - I'm sure those that have it may reply - i haven't got a copy at the moment - I did have
one but lent it to a friend - not a CD for me - but then I don't make many children's cards ... so not a good person to ask maybe!

I've got it and don't like it. Bought it as soon as it was shown on IW/C&C and didn't realise you had to have the board to use it properly.
Managed to get the board after a little while but I just can't get on with these boards. Both of them will just be collecting dust with me I'm afraid.

Christina,
I have got it and I do really like it but you do need the dress to impress board to go with it. I made about 15 of the cards when it first came out and must admit that I havent made any since although this post will prompt me to get it out again. it is basically a colour in, print and cut and stick process. My boys love doing it. It is fairly easy to get on with but if the colour you want isn't in the colour gallery, you will need to create your own jpeg of the colour and save it (I had to do it for the bumble bee black/yellow stripe) It also make strange sized cards that you will need to make envies for or use A4 ones that will be too wide. So in short, if you can manage to make the jpegs and you can make envies, go for it. If you dont like either or like to be a bit more creative then go for a different childrens CD (Sharons or frootloop) Hope this helps Sarah xxx |
