I like to watch the footy, when England are playing and I like to watch Wimbledon, but am not glued to it. Last night I was waiting for George Gently only to hear at the end that it was postponed until next week. I don't know why they have to have it on both BBC 1 & 2, I would quite happily switch to BBC 3 or 4. I don't watch any of the soaps so that doesn't affect me at all. Unfortunately if you want dedicated sports channels, you have to pay out for Sky. My late hubby used to be an F1 fan, and I hated it, horrible to say but the only interesting part was if they had a crash!! Sorry no offence meant, but how normal intelligent people can sit and watch a car going round and round, with the eeeeeeeaaaarrrrooowwww sounds, to me is like watching paint dry! Jacqui x
