Posts: 45 (07/07/2008 22:00:06) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None Evening ladies....oh and gentlemen too I am hoping some of you will be able to help me, I've got the Helping Hands Template in the shop window and I'm looking for a nice background sheet to go behind the window, something like vintage ladies clothes, or maybe even some flowers. I've tried searching for suitable backgrounds and can't find anything. Could someone please point me in the direction of where I can get something suitable. Thanks so much in advance Cheryl x

I'm not selling the cards I'm actually making them for a couple of friends, one loves victorian fashion and the other loves flowers and she used to work in a florist. I just wanted something like victorian dresses on display in the background and flowers in the other, but I just can't seem to find anything suitable at all. I wish they done backgrounds to match the templates but I'm unable to find those anywhere either!

The recipient loved it so I'm going to put other photos of my garden (I have one of my 40 year old standard wisteria in flower) behind the window. I'm sure if you look in books or magazines you'll find some lovely scenesl It doesn't have to be a shop window -it can be a bay window and looking out rather than in. If you'd rather do a shop, there are loads of images of clothes and images in womens' magazines you could scan and make the right size. I did a shop window (though not with the template - it was before I bought it) and it is in my images in the swaps folder. Can't remember which moth but I think you'll be able to tell!! I used peel-offs mostly. If you want ore info pm me. Janet

Posts: 260 (08/07/2008 07:11:42) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I must admit that when we design the templates we do look around at what is available for the crafter to use before we release it.. we love using the JS CD's as the choice is just amazing and the Fashion Boutique has everything you could wish for if planning a vintage fashion shop.. We also use decoupage stocked Js shop too. I like to take the images from the cd's and chop them up to make individual things for the windows and shops. All the cd's have toppers that can be cut up and used in all our Templates. Stamped images also look very pretty and we all have pretty papers in our stash to use as the background. hopes this helps linnie
