Go get 'em Sharon...................... I despise people who do things like this. Theft of any kind, be in copyright material or of your Grandmother's
jewellery in a burglary - doesn't matter. It is still theft and depriving someone of something that is rightfully theirs. It makes no difference whether it
is monetary or material goods...... I hope you get the lot of 'em.

Lavendar I was brought up with the same theory as you, if you cant afford it you simply cant have it.
It sounds harsh but its reality. I work from 8am till sometimes 10pm 7 days a week and to see this kinda think going on just makes me feel so sick. It started off as one wee worm sharing file but by goodness what a giant size can of worms we've opened. I have to say a personal thanks to FeeJ who has also been fighting the fight alongside me. Andy dont worry if I find yours I shall do whatever I can  to stop it.

I'm with you all the way Sharon and I hope you manage to stop the thieves. I was approached once by someone offering a rip off copy of a CD. I was
absolutely appalled and would only ever buy from genuine people at the correct price. If everyone said no to these people then they wouldn't be able to
profit from the hard work of others.
Nice people like Sharon, Joanna and FeeJ (and lots of other designers out there) don't deserve this grief. |

iv was reading about file shareing the other day as a lot of music is shared that way, it amazes me how people can get away with it, ok a few people may not
know they are doing wrong but i think most do, keep fighting it sharon, shake a big stick at them

Its an area that is under great scrutiny at the moment, I know Virgin Media has ongoing issues and I was reading the other day about You Tube having to hand
over every clip every shown in an effort to clamp down on copyright theft. These are highly publicised in the media so how anyone can innocently claim they
didnt know what they were doing is just talking pants!!!!

Sorry to hear of this Sharon, I too was brought up to believe if you can't afford it you can't have it. It's amazing how many people when offered
something cheap or for free will just take it and truly believe they've done nothing wrong!!
Well done on the weight loss but could you stop sending your lbs my direction please

I read something in papers that they were trying to crack down on downloading/file sharing and something about the ISPs getting involved - but must confess I
didn't really understand what they were trying to say - apart from the fact that I wouldn't even know how to go about it anyway.

Sounds incredible what they are doing, even if I can't understand how they are doing it!! On such a grand scale as that and so blatant  Go get 'em! 
I heard something the other day about VirginMedia writing to everyone of their customers who have watched YouTube? I am waiting for the letter any day now with trepidation as I have watched many funny YouTube videos in innocence!  Do they count?

I have to admit I knew very little about the whole file sharing network until it was introduced to me, now its the biggest trash can I've ever seen.
I'm just glad the file sharing sites are taking it seriously and are doing all they can to help. Hopefully it will send out messages to all the other
people knowingly copying and sharing the cds. Those that download are just as guilty as those that upload.
Its like a bank robber blowing open a vault, taking his stash then letting any Tom Dick and Harry in to help themselves to the rest. Its not his to share in the first place.
