My question is, though, what breadmaker should I buy? Any recommendations would be appreciated as I don't want to get one that doesn't work.
Thanks, Nina x

Now my daughter is home on maternity leave until the New Year she has said she would like to make some bread and I said if I got her a breamaker, she could
make mine as well (well, it pays to be cheeky!!! lol)
My question is, though, what breadmaker should I buy? Any recommendations would be appreciated as I don't want to get one that doesn't work. Thanks, Nina x |

Don't get a 2 paddle one I had my first one which was a moulinex when they first came I wore that out then got a 2 paddle one and hated it so have now got
another single paddle one just tried to see the make and can't find it but I don't think there's a lot to choose between them I wouldn't pay a
lot for one though .
hope this helps. Ann. |

Hi Nina, the ladies at work have got one and they each get varying results. One is a cheapy version from a big supermarket and it seems to give better results
than the more expensive branded one! Good Luck - I bought one years ago and it now sits on my kitchen work top looking pretty! When I did use it, I found the
bread didn't stay fresh enough for long enough so I was making a loaf a day - needless to say - it didn't get used for long.

We have a panasonic one here, and to be fair, its great. You can do all kinds of things in them, not just bread
Nothing beats the aroma of freshly baked bread |

I had a Hinari which worked well but I found I didn't use it enough so gave it away on freecycle.

I have an Anthony Worrall Thompson, Breville, which does the rumba across the kitchen work surface when kneading. As with most of my must have kitchen gadgets,
it is under-used.

I have a morphy richards as has my friend who flogged hers to death but they still replaced it,no questions asked. I had to ring this company re my cappuchino
maker and again a replacement without fuss. I have had my breadmaker for years have used it loads and it still does the job. Ali x

The smell of freshly baked bread is wafting around the house as I type! I use a Panasonic and it is very good - the only dodgy loaves I've had have been
caused by me I'm afraid!!

Thanks girls, this has been a great help. Will look at the various makes, although Panasonic seems favourite as I have heard from friends that it is good but
didn't know if they were just boasting about their breadmaking skills!!! lol

The girls from work bought me an LG breadmaker as a wedding gift, don't use it much but when I do the house smells glorious and the loaf doesn't get to
go stale we eat up in one session. Delicious.

I have made my own bread for many years. I am on my second russell hobbs bread machine and make 2 or 3 loaves a week have also done pizza dough and cakes it is
excellent. Tricky to get though you can ring them or go on their website and amazon use to do them.

I have the cheapest cookworks one from Argos and it does the job brilliantly. I think it cost about £25 why pay more??

I had one a few years ago from QVC and it was rubbish. I rang the help line many times, but still no good, I ended up returning it, so was rather put off
after that. My daughter has one and cooks lovely bread in hers. I now make the dough in my new magimix and cook it in the oven. It seems less bother.
