I card make and scrapbook and have had my eyes on this for some time and can't make my mind up if it's worth the money. I am looking for some impartial feedback and this seemed the best place to get it. Caroline x

It is easy to use and I have made notebooks for myself and friends. I'm not sure if notebooks would sell, but you could make nice diaries or calendars for presents or for selling near Christmas. The only problem I had, is that I bought 2 sizes of wires, but they were smaller than I expected. I had to use the bigger one I had got to do the notebooks. The smaller one will make fancy cards so not wasted but I will need to get a big size to do larger projects. Alison

I got one last year and it has been the most used tool in my armoury. I have made 100s of notebooks and they sold like hotcakes, honestly Alison. I have some buried somewhere in my blog if you care to look but they are only the tip of the iceberg. They were very simple and personalised and I couldn't keep up with the demand at one point. I have made birthday books, wee scrapbooks, telephone books etc etc. Considering how much even plain books are to buy that you have to decorate yourself, you will recoup the money in no time at all. The BIA website is full of info and projects. As a rough guide I found the 5/8ths inch wires to be the most useful for me but it ultimately depends on what you want to make. Go on, you know you want to.

Posts: 867 (15/07/2008 01:44:58) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I made a a booklet with my Big Bite and used the wires for it and it seems o.k just had to make sure of the spaces between the coils of wire ..an easier way is to lace it with ribbon. Was thinking of getting one but will wait until nearer my birthday and maybe let someone buy it for me...
