yes I do and funnily enough I am reading a book just now called "An Angel by my side",
written by Jacky Newcomb. Last night I had to take a magazine to bed to read, as I didn't want to go on reading the book in bed. Don't ask me why, I don't know. But it seems funny Tina, you have put this question up. Love Jen |

Yes I do. Not sure about all that Most Haunted stuff on the telli but I have a lot of time for John Edward. I also have meant people with second sight etc and
I can't explain what they do so I cannot discount it.

An old friend of Peter's died very sadly from alcohol related illness. He always used to walk up the hill from the pub, and if Peter went passed him he
would say 'Goodnight Pete'. A couple of days after he died, Peter was walking down the hill when Cyril's voice said 'Goodnight Pete'.
Peter swears it was him.

Ok here goes. A few years ago my husband couldn't find his lighter, it was a present from my parents and my mum had died about 6 months previously. Well
about 3 weeks later it turned up, on the middle of the couch (I had been asking mum to find it). Then some weeks later he proceeded to lose it again. We
search everywhere, and it was a month before mum gave it back, it was on the passenger seat of our car which we use everyday. I told him that if he lost it
again that would be it, as mum would'nt give it back to teach him a lesson. So what happened, it disappeared and was never again found.
I do believe that on both ocasions my mum gave it back. Barbara xx. |

Tina, Only after I had typed my post did I realise it would have been my mum's birthday today, even though I have been thinking of her all morning,

Yes I do. When I was a child I used to have dreams about things that would happen, these became so frequent that at a later date I couldn't remember if
something had really happened or whether I had just dreamt it. It was very confusing as a child and I was too frightened to tell anybody. Thankfully it
stopped. Years later I kept dreaming that I ws attending my grandfathers funeral, as far as we knew he was very fit and well, a few months later he died of
cancer. I can also remember my Mum phoning me one day and the first thing I asked her was if my sister was ok, yes she replied why? The next day Mum phoned to
tell me that she had been involved in a car accident, thankfully she wasn't badly hurt. It doesn't happen very often now thank goodness as it is not a
nice feeling. I keep hoping I will dream that I have won the lottery. lol

Yes, definitely!!!
Not long after my ex-husband left, strange things started to happen in the house, like taps and lights turning on. I told a woman I worked with who was psychic. She told me to stand in the middle of my house and thank whoever it was for being there, but that they were frightening me and I would like them to stop. After that, no more odd things have ever happened. I know it was my Gran just telling me it was OK and she was there protecting me. She had the same feelings about the supernatural as I do. I know she's always there. Love Jill x |

I was eleven, and my grandfather had been ill for a long time, when possible the nurse and my nan would get him out of bed and sit him in an armchair for an
hour, this chair looked across the bedroom and landing into the bathroom from there he could see out the bathroom window.
Two days after he died I was at my nans and went to the loo, as i went up the stairs it got colder and colder, when i got the the landing, i heard my granddad say hello penny, I looked round and there he was sitting in the chair. Im sorry to say I panicked locked myself in the bathroom and didnt comeout till my mum came to see if I was alright! The next time a similar experience happened I was ready for it, my father died whilst on a caravaning holiday in somerset. My brother towed the caravan back home, and it was about 3 weeks before my brother and I could face opening up the caravan to empty it of his things, we opened the door, and it felt very cold, so my brother said he was going for a jacket, I stepped inside and their in the corner was sat my dad. I sat down and had a little chat with him, and suddenly he faded away. Within a split second my brother was in the doorway asking me who was I talking to. Oh no one I said, just talking to myself thats all. For a few weeks after that, I would put something down, leave the room for something else and come back to find it had moved. So Yes I most definately do believe. |

No, vivid imaginations or reading things into situations I believe.
Think "psychics" are just good at reading people and telling them what they want to hear, having watched one who a lot of people swore was brilliant, I was even more convinced! She played to the vulnerable ones, very clever but most of what she came out with could apply to the majority of folk. |

1st one I remember, was when I was 16 my mum died. My Grandad, ( mums Dad) floated alongside the
bedroom wall as I was trying to go to sleep. He had died when I was3. A few months later I had a dream that I was walking to the bus stop and my mum and a man, who at that time I thought it was Jesus, were standing on the other side of the path. Mum told me she was alright and then they went. But I have never "seen" her since and that is over forty years ago. The first time we went to Ireland , hubby , me , his brother and our first son he was 8 months old, went to visit hubbys family. After a fortnight time to come home had to leave about 4 in the morning driving down tiny lanes, just going over a little bridge when I shouted at hubby. He stopped and we all got out , as I was sure he had run over a little old lady with a shawl over her head. and a basket. We all "saw" her, and the two men looked all under and round the car but she wasn't there. Wrote to MIL when we got back and she just wrote" oh yes that is Mrs. ?(can't remember her name, sorry ) she always went to get the eggs at that time in the morning . She has been dead a long time! I have had a few unusual "happenings" over the years. We lived in a house in Wiltshire, and the walk in cupboard in the bedroom was a source of
something. A radio on the shelf in there turned itself on at three in the morning, the most awful durge of organ music was playing. One morning I came home
after the school run to find the doors of the cupboard both wide open. Hubby was away for a few days and I hadn't been in there, because it was mainly for
his clothes, the doors were fastened with a magnet and needed a good pull, so they didn't just open. I would wake most nights, again at three in the
morning, in a panic because something had woken me, never knew what. The smoke alarm went off, again at three in the morning, no fire anywhere. Hubby
didn't feel the vibes from that cupboard. The day we left, I did a tour of the house to check we hadn't left anything, and even in daytime, there was
definitely a "feeling" in that cupboard.
Recently, we had a session on an ouija board. Being very sceptical, I was amazed to find the glass going berserk. We are four very sensible adults, and this thing was going by itself, spelling out some French message. We did this in our friend's house, when they wanted to have another go in our house, I'm afraid I declined. We live in a 12th century cottage, and cannot begin to think what we might muster up. I believe the Knights Templar used it at one time, and the thought of one of them or worse being summoned and then not being cleared properly frightened me off. I am more succeptable than my husband. I have had many "feelings" over the years, of some-one standing by me etc. so didn't want to risk it. Although this cottage is old, I don't feel anything bad. The only one thing was - my son bought me a small stone statue of a devil reading the bible, which I placed in an alcove in the lounge. Even my husband got bad vibes from it, and every time I went into the room so did I. He told me to throw it out, but as it was a birthday present I didn't want to. So after a few weeks of these weird feelings,I moved it across the room to another alcove, even as I carried it, the whole room felt much better. Hubby came home, and I thought he would still complain about it, but he thought the same as me, the room felt much happier. We found out later that the builder who did some work in that room, also felt something in that corner. But since moving the statue, nothing. I would still like another go on an ouija board though. I used to work at a theme park as a ride operator. One of my duties was to introduce our animatronic show. It was in a theatre in a lonely area of the park,
with nothing else around. I had heard stories that the theatre was haunted, but assumed it was all talk to scare new workers. The day that I was trained on how
to turn the show on and off, my trainer said that when I opened the theatre in the morning, I had to say hello to Jack, and I had to say goodbye to him at the
end of the day. If I didn't, things would happen, as Jack was a known prankster. Yeah, right, I thought. So I didn't say anything when I went in. Well
the first show was fine. And the next two. My trainer left me on my own for the last show, reminding me to say goodbye to Jack. Well the last show went fine. I
locked the main doors after everyone left, then cleaned the theatre. I turned off all the controls, made sure I had the key, turned off the lights, and then
locked the inner theatre doors. As I was closing the outer doors, I could hear voices in the theatre. There were definitely a couple of kids and at least one
adult. Darn, I musn't have locked the other doors properly and a family had got into the theatre. So I opened the outer doors, and unlocked the inner
doors. As soon as I opened the doors, the voices stopped. I looked around the dark theatre, and there was no one there. I then said in a loud voice
"Goodbye Jack" and locked up everything. Never heard a peep out of him again.
Another theatre host had his own encounter with Jack. Gary had decided to tape record the show as a rememberance before it was torn down to make way for a new attraction. He put the tape next to a speaker back stage and recorded each of the three shows that day. When he went to listen to the tape, he could hear someone moving back stage. I told him it was probably the noise of the characters moving around, but when I listened to it, I could hear that it was someone else. Both of us had worked that attraction for a long time, and knew the sounds of each character, and when they moved. As the backstage area was locked, and Gary had the only key, there was no way that anyone could have been back stage. Guess Jack was saying goodbye to the place. So the answer for me is yes, I do believe in the supernatural. |

I used to be a little sceptical, but following several strange happenings in my life i am convinced that my loved ones are watching over me.
I think it may be my dearly beloved dad that visit's he likes to show his been by moving my photo frames i have hanging on the wall and i'm not talking just a little movement they are deffinatley askew........ I very often get a very strong smell of cigarette smoke (he was a heavy smoker died from lung cancer and he nows that i have always been anti smoking) in various rooms, we also have lights flickering. The scarey ones are when things just fall of shelves when no one is in that room. The one incident that really changed me into a true believer happened two years ago. It was a Thursday evening and my son daughter and myself had just carried our tea in on our trays to settle in front of the tv to eat, when i sat down the most weirdest thing happened i had the strongest smell of boot polish like someone was polishing their shoes right under my nose and it was just in my area, my son and daughter could smell it if they came over to where i was sitting. It was totally bizare and we could not understand what it was as no one had cleaned shoes in over a month. The smell remained for about 10 mins or so. We could not rationalise this incident and did not even think that it could be a spiritual intervention. All evening the lights kept flickering in the house. Nothing became apparent untill the Saturday evening at 7.50pm whilst sat watching Casualty (TV) I had a very panic striken son on the phone he had been involved in a car accident. He was not far away so we made our way to the crash sight, on the way their i was talking to one of the police officers on scene. We could not believe it as we got closer we had to go through three road blocks to get to the crash scene my heart was pounding it is every parents worst nightmare to have to deal with this situation and i can tell you it has let me with some phycologic hang ups. We got to the accident scene and could not believe our eyes, there were four police cars, two ambulances and a fire engine, then i saw the car it was horrendous he had hit a wall head on at about 45 mph, no one was seriously hurt however the traffic police officer in charge said that it is a miracle that no one died, in all his police carrer he had never seen a car in such a mess and all people walked away. It was not untill 3 - 4 days later that we had the lights flickering again that i put 2 and 2 together was the physic episode on thursday night a warning of what was to come. I believe from information researched that spirits can not warn people this side of life of what is going to happen in the future but i do believe that warning messages can be sent and it is how it is perceived by us that the conection is not made.

yes... I was sitting by the bed of one old lady who was passing out of this life, anyway I was sitting in a four bedded room just her and me, just a night
light on, I was reading and out of the corner of my eye I saw something on the other side of the room, I couldn`t say it was a person but just an impression
that someone was watching me, nothing else happened and the next morning the lady died,.....could have been a shadow caused by the night light, I dont believe
it was...Ann d xxx
