Posts: 801 (14/07/2008 18:06:02) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None Just wondered as i have spent the afternoon making christmas cards and Tinker (my cat) has sat all afternoon on my bed instructing me on what colours to use!!!!!!! i reached for black card his paw went to red card etc............. So i have taught him how to use foam squares, peel offs etc, thought to show him how to use a staz on ink pad and a craft knife could be a little risky for a 3 legged cat, no matter how clever he thinks he is!!!!!! Just wondered if anyone elses pet like to watch you craft???? hugs claire xx

Posts: 2659 (14/07/2008 18:12:51) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	oh claire, matilda hates it when i'm crafting, she sits there nudging me with her nose, if that doesn't get her the attention she wants she then steps it up n uses the her paw, then the whining starts. this is all easily allayed if i remember to give her a dried chicken fillet treat, which she likes to eat in bed, n once shes there she's so lazy so stays there a while. so no i dont get help i get hinderance, lol. chell x

But he has his uses, I found this dinky little nest in our mimosa tree the other day, cosily lined with husky fur Tiny, or what!!

Sue Well, I have seen a wren in the garden, but not this year, but then again, it is a big garden and they are very small We also have a lot of very small finches here, including golden finches, but whoever built this nest wasn't thinking too good. It is on the end of a very flexible branch, and we get a lot of wind here, it would have been like a roller coaster ride

He Secura pens, paper clips, paint bushes ect. and he licks some papers.....tried shutting him out but he yowls so much we cant stand. now if I could keep the table clear........

I moved my craft room the other day and they had firmly bagged their places before I had settled in. They L O V E CRAFTING. It means they know exactly where I am and can help by pointing out discarded peel off strips from DST and they love to put their muddy paws on the cards as a signature. We do have a struggle to prevent that.. Sandra

She's 18 months old now and is happy to let me get on with crafting ... but every now and then she wanders in with her tail wagging and gets on my knee for a cuddle just to remind me that she's still there

She's a cat by the way! Martha, my other cat, tends to try and bat things off the table. They've both been covered in glitter and had bits of peel off attached to their fur!! Love Jill x

When she had more than 20 of those all over, I knew it was time to vacuum my craft area...lol. Now she is 16 years old and gets very jealous when I craft.....and she does everything she can to lure me away from those "boring" things I do. She has problems with her hips now and cant jump, but before, she jumped up and laid herself down very gracefully on whatever I was doing, whether it was wet ink, glitter or small cut decoupage pieces....probably.to check if I was doing it right... I've never had a cat, but when my daughter was little and hadn't learned to talk, she used to point at her mouth when she wanted to be fed, just like the cat in those cartoons.
