Love THICK slices every time!. Home made bread (well the sort Judith does anyway!!) sliced by me and made into a 'Navvys butty' yum yum! (my mum would

I also prefer to taste the filling more than the bread but I don't eat a lot of bread so I can put up with the thick that I buy for OH and son.
I haven't seen the tiny hovis loaves for a long time,brings back memories..... At work we once got the extra thick bread for our toast but it stuck in the toaster and set the fire alarms off,so we have never got it since Betty x |

I agree with you Mags I don't seem to be able to get thin anymore either. As far as I'm concerned the bread is just there to stop your fingers getting
sticky from the filling!
