I took the conscious decision to re-invent my life. I took up Cross Stitch and joined WI. I now belong to an absolutely brilliant group of Internet stitchers, and am Treasurer of my WI. In the New Year, a WI friend introduced me to Card Making. I played around for a few months, but now it is another addiction. I also belong to a local Church Craft Group. Just one question. "What does bored mean?"

I love doing cards, Gardening, Reading , and looking after our 6 Grandbabies, the 2 year old usually 3 days one week, 2 days another week. 13 and 9 years come to me from school two days a week, 3 year old . I had from when she was 6 months, now she goes to her Auntie, since I was poorly last January. The baby is 1 today I haven't had him cos of me being poorly and the 7 year old I had from 6 months till she started school, now they don't live in the same village so can't help out there. But apart from that I don't do anything really. Jen.

Think that's it oh and of course spending time on here with you lovely lot. love and hugs Teejay x

I am a caller for our local club and also go out to other clubs as an invited guest to run an evening's dancing for them. I have run workshops at some of the major folk festivals; I compose dances and have published two books. I belong to the WI. I belong to the same internet stitchers' group as Lancashire Lassie having cross stitched for the past 20 years. I gave up bobbin lacemaking after teaching it for 20 years because my neck got very bad.

Was part of the Leith Hill Musical Festival founded by Ralph Vaughn Williams. Music still is an essential. These days cardmaking rules. However genealogy is large in my life. Researching your family history is like playing detective ! I feel like Miss Marple as I peruse the records and try to trace those elusive ancestors. I have made some AMAZING discoveries , made some lovely friends and find it very rewarding. Having been involved is many crafts from dressmaking to machine embroidery and ceramics I have decided that you can spread yourself too thin, fill up your house with a plethera of goodies and equipment that you HAVE to have. Therefore I have cut back and prefer specialising in less things. Best wishes Sonia

I work at home, but I also enjoy anything to do with animals. I worked at a wildlife hospital for five years until I had to stop due to ill health. I like to spend time with my own animals - twelve guinea pigs, three house rabbits, a cat, a canary and a budgie. I love travelling and have been to the US, Japan, and all round Europe. I also worked for a rock band for 15 years and travelled a lot with them, and a TV company for eight years It's easier to do all this stuff when you have no OH, children or grandchildren!! I share a house with a like minded housemate called Heather who makes silver jewellery. We do local craft fairs and sell on the internet. It is a total madhouse. I also enjoy photography and music. I also adore our rescued cat Saffron and I cross stitch and design cross stitch patterns and kits - I have the sole licence on the Clive's Cats cartoons. Best Beloved and I also make toys called Beathtieth which we sell and a portion of the profits go to charity. I enjoy cooking and baking too and make chutney for charity as well. It's called "Von Flieder's Own Apple Cider Chutney". It sounds like I'm a really busy, active person but I'm not - most of the time I sit and sew and watch TV!

Love scrapbooking because I love photos. Love ,love Swimming, always feel free. Learnt to tapdance when I was 39 and love it but havn't done any this year yet as it is exhausting. Love to walk and love to get on my bike, but at the moment I am enjoying reading. Ali x

But especially people who can quilt as we only have one person making up all the blankets at the moment oh and any designers willing to donate there patterns/charts too Oh I wish I could post the URL but best not without permission. Tina? Katrina? Anyway if anyone IS interested just IM me At the moment most of my time is spent cardmaking, as I appear to be the groups designated card maker!!! LOL I am making up a stash of cards to be sold at a fete in the spring to raise funds, as well as any 'special' cards that need doing. So any help in that department would be cool too!! LOL oops sorry i'm going on a bit about it aren't I, I'll shut up!! lol
