Posts: 15 (17/07/2008 15:42:01) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I had that happen a few weeks ago with my Hotmail account, apparently it's quite a common thing, and it is so embarrassing telling all your friends it's not come from you. The best thing to do is to change your password to something really difficult to replicate as they literally hack into hotmail and try everyday words and names until they hit an active account, so having a very difficult password helps to protect yourself. Damned annoying though.....!!!!! GG

Tina the same thing happened to me today. Some love life hacked in to my hotmail and sent an advert for electronic goods to all my contacts. Believe me I was grateful for the rejections or I probably wouldn't have known. Just changed my password Fortunatly I changed my pay pal password a couple of weeks ago as some one on here recommended having different passwords for different things.Always make sure I log off hotmail now too What will they do next? I apparently sent out mails for viagra, for naked videos and some in a weird foreign language. My password is changed now too but I am still getting things going into spam as we speak

Someone in your address book has a poorly pc, happened to me a few years ago. I supposidley had rejected emails from people i didnt know, yet when i emailed them myself, they were delivered. Somehow the virus emails from the infected pc to names in that address book, claiming to be from another in that address book. I managed to find a common name we all had in our address book, and then found out his pc was infected. But it took several months of telling the stupid guy his pc was infected before he did anything about it. He just kept denying it was his problem, then one day i had an email apology from him!
