Scott today had his hickman line taken out,
after being told yesterday that a surgical person was due to come over about 9pm yesterday,
one did arrive this afternoon,
this morning Scott consultant came to see him and could see an improvement,
he doesnt look so much like the mitchelin man now but still has chunky legs,
the plan now is too put another hickman line in tomorrow and chemo to be done on saturday and sunday,
ideally the line shouldnt have been put in for a few day but the chemo is already late
and his bone marrow test has been postponed until next friday,
on monday he was suppose to have his dtpa (kidney function) done this has to be postponed also,
also Scott is now allowed to eat until 4am when he will be starved again for his procedure tomorrow,
so we are plodding along
UPDATE
he is currently in theatre having his new hickman line put in,
but really wanted a drink when he woke up this morning, (couldnt have one)
but i will take his bottle down when i go to pick him up,
2nd UPDATE
everything went well,
he was awake when we went to pick him up
and the first thing he wanted was a drink (i took it with me),
he is a little nigglely so im not stopping on
will keep everyone updated
