After the fiasco over the delay in marking them my grandson is bringing his home today along with his school report. I hope he's done ok!

My school got the numeracy and science SATs yesterday, but still no sign of the literacy. The children have finished today, so our poor year sixes have left
without their literacy results. Unless we get them tomorrow, it will be September before they are posted out to the parents. What an absolute fiasco!!! I
feel so sorry for the children and their parents.

My son James (age 11) got three 5s. I'm really proud of him as he has behaved
all the way through primary school and is a credit to us and the school. Sarah |

I hope all the results are good. My twin grandchildren came for their birthday cake today and also celebrated their very good results.
How many mums and grans are a little bit sad at the end of them being at Primary School, though? |

I work in a school office and have to deal with the results and they were all posted on line yesterday to be downloaded. We had all of ours and they were sent
out to the parents today. Perhaps your schools should look on line to see if theirs are available. All the results should be out at the same time.

Luckily we don't have these in Scotland. Just waiting for standard grade results next month in our house.

Well he's only got unofficial results as they haven't been seen by the school governer's yet.
All level 4 apart from reading which is 5c. He is where he should be so happy with that although watching the news I do wonder how reliable the results are! Elaine x |

I wonder how I ever got through school without SAT's. I am of the opion that they are mostly used to show how the school is performing. I object to my
young daughter being worried about her results when I can get information at any time about her progress from her teacher. We should not be pressurising young
kids at all. I was once actually told by a teacher that they were much less about the kids progress and more about their teaching skills.

It can be quite stressful for children. One girl at our school was really worried and developed a twitch and didn't do her best because she was so
stressed. My daughter (thankfully) on the other hand in year 2 got all 3's, I am so proud of her. I think the teachers need to treat it more like a
little test and have them little and often rather than one big test, that way the children are not aware when the SAT's come around. It is after all an
assessment of the teaching and the school itself.
