Mum was last on today's list scheduled for 7.30. They have just phoned to say this has now been cancelled as thay have 3 major emergencies in A&E all requiring immediate surgery. Mum on morning list for Monday. Nurse said she was tucking into sheperds pie and then rice pudding - not surprised asfter NBM since midnight Thursday! I am keeping a log of events - I feel a letter coming on!!! Tess x Update Surgery will now go ahead this evening. Surgery did not go ahead yesterday. Decided about 6pm (surgeon still in theatre) so poor mum had NBM since midnight Thursday. Op now probably won't happen till Monday. Thanks for your contined support.
