I was wondering what paper You all use to print the images, backing papers
The photo type images on this CD are so lovely, I want to do them justice.
Thanks

Hello and welcome Elvie. I use gloss photo paper for toppers and either thin card or paper for backing. I have used silver inkjet with the Fashion Boutique cd
and it's gorgeous.

Hi Elvie, welcome to the forum from me too
I use the gentle gloss photo paper or soft sheen from Joanna's shop. If I want a mat finish i use 160g paper from graphicus, I ve just got some 160g paper from Wilkinsons which was really cheap but I haven't used any yet so I'm not sure what it'll be like. Claire xx |

Welcome to the forum.
I use papers and card from Staples, and also card from Quick Draw supplies. They do a fab 300gsm printable card. I have also bought photo paper from the pound shop and it is perfect for toppers. Sue |

I just bought some more photopaper from £land. I have also used Joanna Sheen photo paper and Asda value photopaper .... all good for toppers and also sometimes
for backing sheets. I have also experimented with Tracing Paper and vellum to good effect both for backing paper and toppers as well!

A very warm welcome, Elvie !
Wow ! You have picked just about my favourite of Joanna's Cd's. An absolute stunner, extremely versatile with the possibility of making cards for every occasion. Paper is a matter of choice. I look at a particular image and decide the 'look' I want to achieve. Joanna has some lovely papers. Her gloss is great and I love the soft satin for some backgrounds of a more matt look. I do buy pearl photograpic paper for certain pictures. It is nice to contrast. Simply never forget to tell your pinter the type of paper that is coming for best results !! Scroll through the fantastic CDs that you have just bought and EXPERIMENT ! Best wishes Sonia |

Hi & welcome from me too.............
I tend to use cheap photo paper for the toppers and the backing papers.......... my printer seems to mute the colurs too much on normal paper. (also prints slightly wonky too so I don't print direct to cardstock since it looks like I was tiddly when I made the card! C xx |
