So the challenge is to either get out that stamp that is unused and make a card from it, or find that stamp that has been used just one way and find a new and exciting way to use it. I am sure you can come up with something if you really try Could I also kindly ask, if possible to put the pictures on this thread rather than linking them to blogs, as many people don't bother looking unless they are there in front of them. Thank you and enjoy the challenge

This is one of my many foam stamps as yet unused. I stamped it on parchment paper with VersaMagic 'Hint of Pesto',mounted it on a bit of checked scrapbook paper that I had lying around,then on a bit of matt gold paper and then on a bronze ribbed metallic card finished off with a little green dotted ribbon that I got in a sale somewhere. How did oyu know I'd been to the Graphicus sale yesterday and bought a boat-load of stamps (already mounted on Kling-on as they're moving to Ez mount) for bargain basement prices. I only cut them out last night and now have a numb finger! How on earth do I decide which one to use????? Gonna be on all week!! Love Jill x

Posts: 10088 (21/07/2008 08:00:16) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Well here`s my challenge card - thanks Tina for a great subject - I have never done a background from different ink colours and then light shades of stamped images topped with the main stamp in a bolder colour - so using the stamp from the centre of the teapot collection I set about making this card and the Sweet chips little girl outfit too The front of the dress is roses printed from Fantasy Floral on fuzzy inkjet paper for extra texture As I have being setting up a blog at the weekend i`m going to try and put more info of how I did it on there if anyone is interested - there should be a link if you click on my avatar - will try and complete that this morning Suzanne Last Edited By: suzanne 21/07/2008 23:04:25. Not sure if the picture shows but it is really sparkley!

The image is stamped on white card and coloured with green chalks, the frame is embossed with aqua tinsel, the flowers are from Joanna's cardmakers year cd and the backing paper is from the Artylicious season's greetings cd. The stamp is one of my favourites from Creative Expressions but I have never tried stamping on acetate and glittering before so I thought I would have ago and this is what I ended up with. I have scanned it in so the picture doesn't show that the wings move. Hope you like it Lorraine x

The main background of the card is from her Damask Delights CD and the word panel is a matching background stamp with the words stamped over the top. I enjoyed this week's challenge as it made me go and look at all the boxes of stamps that seem to have appeared in my craft room

I bought these stamps from Joanna when they were on special offer and never used them....... stamping is not my strong point. I used very pale green stardream card as the base card and for the stamped images. Coloured with sakura stardust pens and used some backing paper I already had and the b & w image from a set I have. Decoupaged the corner stamp, the large flower is just a single layer on foam pads, as is the frame which has gold pen-touch round the edge. C xx Last Edited By: CarolPG 23/07/2008 20:32:06.
