I've ordered mine too, and the christmas cd. It looks brilliant!!!
I've got their 3d card builder and use it on just about EVERY card, even with the JS images from Joanna's cd's, this new cd means I'lll be able to do even more with the images as well as make more original cards. I for one can't wait for it to arrive Liza |

Ive not seen the 3d card builder is it easy? Margaret |

yes Margaret it is very easy, the screens pretty much tell you what to do, Go for it and have a go you won't regret it I promise you!
And I'm always around if you need help when it arrives However, The only things you can do with it are pyramage, decoupage, and backing papers, so taking that into account, unless you particularly like decoupage, I'd go for the toolbox cd instead as you can do so much more with it. Liza |

i thought the facility to make your own backing papers was very good

A few years ago at the NEC I bought the original decoupage 3d card builder and Fairies & Mermaids for all occasions
and I am sorry to say I have never used them. NOT because there is anything wrong with them , I am sure, But I haven't got a graphics programme , don't know how to get one, wouldn't know how to use one. COS I am thick! I like straight forward cds like Joannas, press and print..........But you know I really would like to be talented like a lot of you lovely people, so if ever you have the time to teach me I would gladly TRY to learn.. Melchache, that's the part of the software that I use most often, I have a computer crammed full of the backings done on the 3d cd, It looks like the new
cd has some new features on that section too, so I'm really looking forward to finding out
One things for sure.... I've been singing the praises of 3d cardbuilder since i got it about 6 months ago, now I think it'll be the toolbox!!! LOL sorry but I just think these cd's are amazing. Obviously I love Joanna's cd's just as much, but if you want to do something of your own these are definitly the one's to buy and work perfectly in conjunction with all your other cd's. I'm yet to get the kaleidescope creator cd, but i bet when i do I'll love that too!! LOL Liza |

I agree. I love the 3D2 cardbuilder and have ordered this new toolbox CD. I think it looks amazing, and so easy to use as are all of the card creations
CD's

cmegan that is such a shame
you don't need a graphics program to use them, as they are a graphics program in there own right. you just have your picture saved on your pc. and when your in the 3d program you just open the file on your cd and play around with it. The only time you might need a graphics program is if you need to copy a disc from a cd, paste it into the graphics prog. and save to a jpeg file (easier than that sounds honestly) but then paint is perfectly suitable for that, and comes free as part of windows, so you're most likely have it already. Please give it a go, it really is so easy and you'll love it when you do. Liza |

marc, personally I'd go for the new toolbox, you can do a lot more with it than in 3d, BUT the toolbox doesn't appear to have the decoupage facility so
if that's important to you.....
I'm not keen on decoupage so for me the toolbox is the one I'd prefer if had to choose. Liza |

Hi margaret, yes you can use any image on your pc in the toolbox cd in just the same way as in 3d cardbuilder.
