I have just made a Victoria Sponge Sandwich, Dad's favorite and it's in the oven as we speak
 Thinking about what to make for dinner. I have some pork steaks and also some
chicken fillets, so think I will go and have a read through some of my recipe books

I'm stuck at work having had a really bad start!

Keeping the girls amused (1st day of summer holidays) baking little cakes, trip to supermarket, painting and drawing, watching the ducks in the garden and
tidying up mess from the girls!!!! No arguments yet which is a good sign.

Stayed in for some new windows for our conservatory to be delivered! yipeee they arrived.
Had my mum over to lunch becuase I was feeling a bit blue with Best Beloved back to work this week. Made a sausage, apple and cider pie with puff pastry and mashed potatoes, peas and french beans. Rather scrummy though I say it myself. Now waiting for BB to come home and I will cook his dnner for him after we have been to the pub for a quiet drink in the sunshine. |

Went food shopping this morning. Came home and pulled some weeds from the sides of the drive. Broomed the drive afterwards and, exhausted, had a sandwich for
lunch. This afternoon have been catching up with some emails and attempted one card - the first for ages. Now waiting for my dinner - Eric's cook tonight.
