The big bite can be used as a table top one so if you have problems with squeezing that would be better.

Hi ...
I can't tell you any differences other than the one you've stated I'm afraid but I can tell you that I've just bought mum a Big Bite for her birthday and she loves it. She has problems with her wrists so I was a bit concerned that she'd find it difficult to use but she' really happy with it. The only fault that she has found is that the numbers on the interchangable dooberies are tiny and she can't read them so she's marked it with different coloured Sakura pens

i have the original, n i love it. got it in a little case with lots of eyelets, n its by my craft table to hand.
it's quick n easy to use, it looks like it needs lots of grip/hand power but it doesn't!!! i had trouble with my hand n got a hole punch/eyelet setter from a different range, but saw the 'crop' at a good price a while later n got one, so glad i did. happy crafting, chell x |

I've got both and I like the fact that the big bite sits on the table and I can use it with one hand. I also want to use mine for scrapbooking so the
longer reach will come in useful. I think if you don't have problems with your hands it's really down to what you want it for and the price may be a
factor too. Which ever one you get you'll love it.

You can buy a case for the big bite too. Another difference is that the big bite can do gromlets and the crop-a-dile can't. I've got both and got them
from QVC. The crop-a-dile came in the case with all the eyelts and the big bite came without a case but had loads of gromlets as well as some designer one.
Although the big bite is bigger, I prefer it cos is does more things.

I'm waiting for my Big Bite to arrive. Wanted it because it fixes grommets. The Crop-a-dile doesn't. I found them both fairly easy to use. Think the
Big Bite might be easier (I do have the Crop-a-dile as well) because it sits on the table and you don't have to worry about having the grip, to use it.
Plus of course it reaches much further. Chrissie x

My Big Bite arrived last week - long story - but I certainly wouldn't want to be without it now. I have problems with my hands and muscles in my body so
just holding something in my hand to use can be hard. This though sits on the table and I am able to use it so easily. The Big Bite can do gromlets as well. As
yet I haven't tried using these yet.
