This probably sounds daft and ignorant but I don't know how kudos works . Do you give it to someone who has helped you by private mail or what ? I
somehow have missed out reading about this and probably have been remiss in the past and not given any .

All I could find about Kudos in the help pages is:"Kudos are good votes for the Yuku posts and profiles that you like." Not sure if that is of much
use.

i dont think it matters to us lovely happy sheenies,
i think it's aimed at the younger ones, when they're on chatting, it's their way of knowing who's 'cool' n who isn't. heaven forbid that they enjoy talking to someone then find out it's the sites resident 'geek' i think we're all better than that, aint we ladies!? chell x |

Nobody really seems to know exactly what kudos is, or why we should need it, whatever it is, I'm sure that we aren't missing out!!

say I'll get by without ever understanding it in the future.

it's like "street cred" as they say. You'll see people with huge amounts, and they belong to more than one Yuku forum
usually. We have had mail in the past asking to "be your friend" and the people are from other Yuku boards, just trying to build their Kudos up. It

If you want someone to be your friend and they accept you then you will get one kudos. So i think that kudos are accumilated by how many friends you have and
if some one votes for you as being a good friend.

mine doesn't work like that Jen, it says I have 498 Kudos and 200+ friends, I don't know how they work it out, all a bit of
baloney if you ask me! xx
