I was really looking forward to watching the shows today but does anyone else think that Steph is very hyper today. On the 1pm show ,only one demo and for
half an hour we had Stephanie rabbiting on about the rest of the products in the show. I think Malcolm meant what he said in that show but they laughed it
off. I can'r remember when a presenter talked as much as Stephanie is doing today. I think this 4pm show is going the same way.

I'm cheating a bit - recording the shows and then I will watch them at my leisure and fast forward over the 'chat' and just watch the demos. I
just get bored if there is too much of the nattering. Anyway there are other jobs to be done rather than sitting in front of the TV.

I sky+ the shows then I watch what I want and fast forward over all the talking. I know they have to sell the products but sometimes it's like the
presenters have verbal diarrhoea!! I'm surprised Stephanie doesn't lose her voice. You can watch the whole hour in about 10 minutes if you fast forward
over all the talking and I just watch the demos. At times today Michelle and Malcolm looked so bored. I'm surprised they can stay focussed. June x x

I must admit that I too record the shows and just fast forward to the interesting bits, there is far too much talking when it is
a cd that they are showing.

I agree she is rabbiting on a bit to much lately. OH falls asleep when she's on. I've recorded some of the shows so I can watch the demos later.
I do have Vol 2 Triple Treasure cds and it is very good. Jenny x |

I agree with everthing been said Malcolm looked bored stiff.
The presenters need to take a back seat now and then. I know their job is to sell but a lot of us are put off by their rabbiting and turn off, and at times they are so childish even the men. If we want to buy we will so shut up and let us watch. Gill X |

I had to turn the volume off! She just seemed to be repeating everything someone was telling her in her ear piece and half the time didn't make a lot of
sense. I agree not enough demos and too much talking.
I have the second set and don't use them at all. Jan x |

If I see that Steph is presenting a show, I watch it with the sound turned off! The only one who seems able to contain her verbocity is dear old Nigel - good
on yer!!! There's a balance to be reached between selling and demonstrating products, and on some shows the scales tip the wrong way. If I hear another
presenter saying "This is my favourite", I shall probably scream.
Having said that, being a presenter is a tough call - I'm sure that I couldn't find so much to say about each product, and I don't envy them the task. Wonder if they're all perpetual rabitters off screen? Sue xx |

I tuned in to see what the POTD was and seeing it was yet another CD I went and did something else instead!
I don't know if it is just me, but does anyone else think it is nearly all CDs on IW crafting shows recently? They do get stuck in a rut sometimes, once upon a time (with Alan & Barry) it was rub ons, then decoupage, then the card kits and now the CD roms. |
