Even if I was a millionaire with money no object I would NEVER have any cosmetic surgery.

Well now, let me see - stretched to make me taller, face lift to get rid of the sagging, perhaps laser-eye to get rid of the contact lenses. Boobs, upper arms,
thighs and tummy - perhaps it would be easier to go for a brain transplant.

I like me the way I am, although would not have minded being a bit taller. Surgery.......... totally out of the question.

I would like my tummy reduced in size but would never go through it. The pain is ten times worse than having an ordinary op. My family and friends like me the
way I am and I certainly don't worry about it. It comes down to personal choice and good luck to anyone who is brave enough to go through it.

Having had surgery for a health problem not cosmetic reason, there is no way I would have any. If i could wave a magic wand i'd consider one or two things.

Had a breast reduction on the nhs years ago because it was causing my spine to curve. Had to have it restitched twice and am left with no feeling in them and
pretty bad scars.
3 years ago after losing 7 stone had boob job!! (not a good idea to go super skinny after a reduction) but they should have been lifted at the same time Also had tummy tuck, believe me it isnt as it seems on tv, hurts like you wouldnt believe, and doesnt necessarily give you a flat belly. Also had a mini (macs) facelift, fab job with no pain and wonderful results. Also upper & lower eyelift, again fab results with little to no pain, face is left in a bad way for a couple of weeks though. Also had botox in crows feet, lasted nearly 6 months and was wonderful but the forehead only lasted 2 weeks. Had restylin (fillers) in laughter lines and cheeks, even with numerous local aneasthetic (sp?) it hurt enough for the air to turn blue. I'd never ever let even my worst enemy have it, not only did it hurt I've been left with pale dirty looking bruises and the effects hardly lasted. Also had cosmetic tattoeing, eyebrows, eyeliner & lipliner as well as laser teeth whitening. These were the cheapest of the lot & the best results, eyebrow tattoeing gives more of a lift to the eye than surgery which just removes the overhang. When you see these results on tv makeover shows more is achieved with makeup, control underwear and duct tape lifted boobs. Would I have more... too right, another facelift in 10 years and possibly the boobs lifted

OMILORD!! SORRY I don't know your name, you've had almost a whole body transplant!! I'm definitely not as brave as that!
As lots of you said, if there was a magic wand that just alterred the bits you wanted, with no pain that would be for me. I have lovely straight whitish teeth, but then again. I lost all mine after my son was born. Best "transplant" on the market, all out, all in,. and no pain! since! If I had a choice of having anything done, it would be laser eye surgery. I sit
up here, one pair of glasses for the pc, one to read, one to cut out, it drives me mad. I was talking to a chap last week and he'd had his eyes done £350
per eye, and he said it had changed his life. I don't know if there is an age limit on this, but if there isn't AND I wasn't such a coward, I'd
sign up straight away!
I wouldn't dare have the botox stuff injected into my lips, not when I saw what it did to whatserface on Men Behaving badly....and SHE has the money for a good surgeon! By the way, I did say this was lighthearted, I wouldn't wish medical plastic surgery for whatever reason, on anyone, or give them the reason for it to be necessary. . |

I'm happy with my body. I just wish I had felt the same in my teens and twenties when I had years of angst.

Only this morning I said to my OH 'wouldn't it be great if you could stick your finger in a socket and it sucked out all the fat' and he said that
would be lyposuction then lol!
I had laser surgery on my eyes last year not privately but I had cholesterol deposits, large white blobs, all around my eyes and nothing would cover them. They looked terrible. Everyone says I look as if I've had an eye lift! I would like to get rid of the frown marks in between my eyes. Jan x |

I have always said that as I got older I would have surgery to lift bits and bobs back into place. I'm now 55yrs old and think that I need to start saving
he he, but I only want my neck tightened, and my upper eyelids tucked. The rest can wait until they travel further south

I hate my feet ... they are short and wide and my toes are wierd shapes ... I look like a hobbit
I've had quite a few gynie ops and I'm not fond of hospitals so I'd never have any surgery that I didn't need for health reasons. |

I think I'm like quite a few people who have replied on here - bit too scared of pain and things going wrong. I've looked into laser eye surgery but
was told that because Im getting older and will probably need glasses for reading shortly as well as being short sighted the effects of surgery wouldnt last
very long
Given a magic wand though I would change a lot of how my body looks. Julie x |

I hate surgery so I guess I won't be doing anything. Guess it's back with the diet again as I would like to lose about a stone. I would have loved to
have been 2 or 3 inches taller though. Chrissie x

Years ago I would have liked to have had a smaller nose and larger boobs but not now (too old) .Read that someone had paid £350 to have each eye done - now I
wouldn't trust any one to laser my eyes unless they were a professional eye consultant in a hospital . It appals me that someone after a few days training
can be let loose with potentially damaging equipment.

Nothing................ bits of me have expanded or travelled south or are now a different shape from when I was 21 but frankly, I don't care. Nothing but
nothing would tempt me to have surgery by choice to correct some perceived fault...........
It's what's on the inside that counts in my book. C xx |

I would like less of a stomach but after a so-called simple operation last year to remove my big toe nail due to them causing me problems went wrong and I got
chemical burns due to the chemical used to stop nail regrowth and now over a year on I have either temporary or permanent nerve damage and cannot wear closed
in shoes and have to put a foam support over the toes if I wear socks in the house. The operations I have had over the years for health reasons haven't
gone smoothly so that doesn't bode well for an operation undertaken for cosmetic reasons. I am too much of a coward to have this done though. I think if I
had more self-confidence I would feel better about myself.

just wanted to say, the £350 x 2 operation was done in a hospital by a proper eye surgeon, or else the chap would have had to wait about
18 months. If this was the point you were referring to. Gill70 . xx

To make me look even half decent I probably need the lot doing. Would I have it done? - not in a million years, unless there was a good medical reason.
Hopefully, the people who matter to me know that my soul is a whole lot nicer than my physical form. As to my physical form, I'm used to it and as it's
just ugly and not actually diseased or deformed it will have to do.
