Can someone tell me what do you use to stick all the layers together?
Is it totally necessary to use anything other than DS tape?
Im thinking about postage here!

With pyramage, you need to use foam pads as it is the same principle as decoupage.

I agree with Paul - you wouldn't get the right effect sticking the pieces flat to each other I don't think.

It does look just as effective with 1mm pads though.

I agree with Carol. I often use 1mm foam pads for decoupage and pyramage. It's still very effective. Chrissie x

Layers are completely up to you!
If it is a predesigned sheet you are using, sometimes you can alternate each layer and get 2 pyramages from one design. I sometimes stop at 4 or 5, but have been known to go up to 10!!!!! Paul x |

A tip which I find useful, when you put your foam pads on, remember they are mainly for support, so you don't have to remove allof the ickle bitty bits of
backing on them!

Another tip, I rub a glue stick over the pads after removing the backing bits, then you can reposition slightly (as long as you haven't pressed down too
hard!) if you need to. They do need to be lined up accurately for the best effect. I also use 2mm pads, so if you have those, give them a try. 3mm is a bit
high if you have many layers. Janet
PS this tip also works fo DS tape and foam tape. |

I use sticky 1mm sticky pads for lightness if the card is to be sent through the post but if its to be delivered by had I use silicone glue as I find it easier
to line the pieces up.
