Morning all, I need to to do a few more christmas cards - only got 10 done so far. I need to do Dad's birthday cards for next month and I've got to
come up with some invites to Mum's 80th for December.
But the garden won't stop growing and the dust keeps settling, so where do I start. I think Dad's birthday cards

Good Morning friends. sorry you missed John Barrowman last night Mary. I dissapeared rather quickly as well, felt extreemly tired so went to bed thinking that
I would manage a good few hours sleep - well we all know what thought did! - never mind today is another day.
There is a pile of ironing awaiting my attention today so will need to make a start on it soon. It's another lovely day here and not too muggy at the moment, Hubby decided that we will barbecue this evening so no cooking for me. 
I will need to pack away all of my Christmas bits today until after my holiday and try to decide what to take with me. Right, the shower is calling so I will see you all later Kate x

Hi Chrissie, the naughty step sounds fine to me!! I have some chicken and bacon salad I can bring, a chocolate roll and some cranberry juice!! Sorry I
don't have any wine. It's a nice night for an outdoor party. Should we have some music!!??

Yes I think we should Mary. Do you remember Linda doing a post about the song 'my mummy told me if I was good dear that she would buy me a rubber
dolly'. Well I have been singing this all week long. So anything a little older and sing-a-long would be nice. Don't know too many of the modern ones.
I like the type you can have a good dance to. I've got some nice fresh fruit salad and how about some nice fresh french bread to go with your chicken and
bacon salad. I bring these.

oooooh I love fresh fruit salad, Chrissie, and the french bread sounds good too!! As for music, does anyone like 50s or 60s stuff,? Or, what they call easy
listening, better still, what about a line dance!!?? ( or will we fall of the step if we do that!?? ) One song I like is " Is This The Way To
Ammerillo" I loved the Peter Kaye version!

Hi Nikki, it must be nice for you to be back home for a while. When my son was little he spent a lot of time in hospital because of his asthma, and I used to
feel I was going stir crazy at times!! Just a walk round the grounds was a treat, and that was nothing like the amount of time you must have spent in there.
So, come and join the inmates on the naughty step!!
