Had a party for my son today, paid for it at the local soft play area/ mini golf place. Now, prepare for a rant!!
, didn't get replies from 4 of the children invited, but 2 arrived at the
party anyway, OK so far. Within minutes of the party of 12 starting their golf round all except 3 parents left. Now I'm good, but to keep an eye on
12 children (6 year old boys!!!!) all at once is near impossible. Fortunatley all the children were well behaved, no injuries at the end and more importantly
all accounted for when the parents arrived to pick them up.
Now I didn't think I was a soft touch but honestly I think I have MUG emblazed across my forehead. To dump your child at a party with people you barely know, to me is unthinkable!
Fortunatley the main man, my son, DAN, whose party it was thouroughly enjoyed himself.
Unfortunatly for him, next year it will be a party for family only and maybe a trip to the cinema with him and A friend.
Thank you for allowing me to vent a little anger.
